I recently had to compile the whole Sonmi451 back catalogue for a friend and took the chance to listen to some of my older work. I found that many tracks still sounded surprisingly fresh, even for my ears, having not heard the tracks in years. So I thought it would be a good idea to re-issue the albums via Bandcamp since they are since long sold out via the original labels. I started with A Phosphorous Spot, initially released by U-Cover Records in 2006. The 7 albums were sold out in less than 2 days so you have to be quick. Now I’ve put up 7 copies of Ruis, released by Slaapwel in 2010. I expect they also will be sold out soon. However, digital sales remain on Bandcamp, after the albums are sold out.

Raffaello Russo, founder of Italian blogsite Music Won’t Save You, also took time to write a nice piece on the new Sonmi451 album. My Italian isn’t that great so if anyone wants to take a shot at a translation, feel free…
The new album called “The Limbic System” is about to be released any day now. There’s already a very nice press review on Beach Sloth.
